The Many Mercies

Ponder God's many mercies in the Book of Mormon to fully realize Moroni's promise.

Slide 1

An Answer for Anxiety

In his letter to the Philippians, the apostle Paul tells the people to "be careful for nothing." He's referring to anxiety. The best part is the solution he offers.

Meek = Weak, Right?

In scripture, the greatest of men were meek. In each of their stories we see that meek is not weak.

Remembering Mercy

The prophet Moroni urges us to remember how merciful the Lord has been. The book of First Nephi is a great place to start with more than 25 percent of its verses touching on mercy.

Just for a Moment

I am aware that moments of beauty often go unnoticed, pinched out by the concerns of the day. Today, I am fortunate.

As members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, the restored gospel has the power to not only change our lives as we initially accept it, but to change us again and again as we learn to live it. One change many of us need is to be more positive. If the promises found in scripture are true (and they are!) why do we hang our heads and give in to discouragement? God wants us to love life and enjoy obedience!
